Big Data und Cloud Computing, das sind die Themen, die Marc Wilczek umtreiben – und das nicht erst seit 2013, seitdem er nämlich als Leiter des Bereichs Portfolio, Innovation & Architecture bei Computing Services & Solutions (CSS) in der Delivery unter anderem genau für diese Themen verantwortlich ist. Schon seit längerem nutzt er auch Veranstaltungen oder Diskussionsrunden als Forum, um die T-Systems-Expertise rundum Cloud und Big Data zu verbreiten. Dabei durchaus auch mit Blick über den IT-Experten-Tellerrand hinaus. Grundlage hierfür ist sein breitgefächertes Interesse für Politik, Wirtschaft und strategisches Management. Begonnen hat Marc Wilczek seine berufliche Karriere 1996. Seitdem konnte er viele Erfahrungen in den unterschiedlichsten Führungsrollen innerhalb der ICT-Industrie sammeln, so u.a. als Managing Director, Asia Pacific bei Utimaco Safeware und Senior Vice President bei der CompuGroup Medical AG. Bei T-Systems ist er seit 2012.

According to a study conducted by Gartner analysts, 64 percent of the organizations surveyed intend to launch big data projects. This is understandable because this technology promises to deliver concrete competitive advantages by enabling businesses to react much faster to changing market developments and customer demands.
